In response to requests from many of our customers, we created the Protective Cleaning Wipes to help look after the device that looks after your oral appliance. Using your Dental Pod frequently can often lead to a gradual build up of plaque, bacteria and grime in the tank. To keep your cleaning routine healthy and hygienic, we developed a bespoke cleaning solution to protect your Dental Pod and oral appliance from degrading over time. They're an easy-to-use cleaning solution, made without harsh or harmful chemicals, designed specifically to keep your Zima Dental Pod in its best possible condition.
The Zima Protective Wipes combine antibacterial agents with naturally-derived ingredients and biodegradable materials to provide an effective, yet gentle way to keep your Dental Pod or Dental Pod Pro clean. Free from alcohol and harmful chemicals, the wipes have been specifically created for your Dental Pod's stainless steel tank, the perfect addition to your oral care routine.
The wipes leave a thin layer of Aloe and Oat extract, which have mild anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties. This helps keep your Dental Pod hygienic and safe from airborne bacteria without using harmful chemicals.
We recommend giving your Pod’s tank a thorough wipe every 2-3 cycles. Simply remove your oral appliance and tip out the water left after a cleaning cycle, then use one wipe to remove any debris and buildup from the bottom and sides of the tank. This should only take 10-15 seconds.
After you've wiped your Pod's tank and spread the wipe's protective film across the total surface area, simply leave it to dry. When you next run a cleaning cycle, follow your normal steps of filling the tank with cold water - no need to rinse your tank beforehand.
