The Dental Pod runs on a quick yet effective 5 minute cleaning cycle. When designing the Dental Pod, the length of the cleaning cycle was based on research published by the University of Manchester's Restorative Dentistry Department.

Conventional techniques for cleaning oral appliances are ineffective at eliminating bacteria and residue that pose a threat to your oral health.

While ultrasonic cleaners like the Dental Pod are designed to be gentle on aligners, not all ultrasonic cleaners are created equal.

During the rigorous design process of the Dental pod, prototypes including UV lights were tested. However, it was decided that UV would not be included in the Dental pod for the following 3 reasons.

The Dental pod effectively cleans night guards. It cleans quickly, efficiently, and with little to no effort on your part. You also don’t need to worry about damaging your appliance. I recommend that you use the Dental pod to clean your night guard every morning after you wake up.
